Alam Group of companies came now 35 years in the Building and Construction Company was founded by the Chairman Alam Group, Mr. Manzur Alam.

In 1965, the first company Uganda Steel Window Ltd., was established with an aim of manufacturing metal doors, windows, louvers, shop fronts, slotted angles, hacksaw blades, wire ropes, welding rods, fencing, steel trunks, BRC, all kinds of furniture and steel pipes.

Uganda Steel Window Company Ltd., which later became Casements (A) Ltd., in 1967 saw the birth of sket share for our products in Uganda.
